Dissolved Gas Analysis Diagnostic Software

Transformer Oil Analyst (TOA)

Developed by Delta-X Research, TOA is a software application and tool for analyzing the results from lab tests on insulating fluids for transformers, tap changers, and oil circuit breakers. It analyzes dissolved gas and physical test results on dielectric fluids and is designed to aid electrical maintenance personnel in early diagnosis of equipment or insulating fluid abnormalities.

TOA helps you manage and interpret the test data in a timely and consistent way. It warns you promptly of any suspicious symptoms or trends. When an equipment or insulating fluid problem is suspected, the Analyst allows you to review history and current status quickly. Without any programming, you can customize the analysis standards, rules, and interpretive tests to support your own operating conditions, policies, and engineering judgment. Maintenance personnel, management, insurers, and equipment vendors will appreciate the Analyst’s quick access to information and its informative reports and graphs.

TOA is in use at many electric utilities, industrial plants, and testing labs. It is rapidly becoming an industry standard because it pays for itself through important benefits such as these:

Save engineer’s time by organizing data and automating calculations.

Early detection of abnormalities helps prevent unscheduled outages, equipment damage, and safety hazards.

Known state of equipment health is a necessity for full loading to maximize economic return on equipment.

Substation Computerized Maintenance
Management System

Cascade

Developed by Digital Inspections, Cascade is a complete maintenance system designed specifically for electrical equipment. It is the only system that integrates a field inspection and data collection system. Triggers are defined based upon readings, test results, event counters, or any combination of these. This allows you to move from strictly time-based to a condition- or predictive-based maintenance program. When a trigger value is reached for a piece of equipment it becomes a maintenance/work order candidate. The candidates are then reviewed to determine which ones to turn into work orders. The pending work order/maintenance is ranked by priority.

Key Benefits:

Cascade can be used in the field, in the truck, or in the office – even all at once.

It will automatically generate prioritized maintenance orders based on inspection results -- complete with procedures and a list of tools and parts needed.

With Cascade you can locate the necessary parts immediately – or find a substitute, or set up a requisition.

Cascade can create a full-color graph of maintenance orders by equipment type for the last six months.

With Cascade you can forecast your workload beyond the year 2001, based on recent performance.
